Equipping for Baptismal Vocation in Daily Life – Session 2: From Gathering to Scattering
This session explores the movement at the heart of Christian worship: gathering around Word and sacrament and being sent back into the world. Framed through a baptismal lens, the session reflects on how worship forms Christian identity not as an end in itself, but as preparation for daily life and service. Participants are invited to notice how liturgy, scripture, and communal prayer shape imagination, courage, and responsibility beyond the church walls. Emphasizing the “scattering” as an essential part of worship, the session lifts up everyday contexts—homes, workplaces, schools, farms, and communities—as primary places where baptismal vocation is lived out for the sake of neighbors.
